I loved my Spacewalker 2 ( unfortunately past tense ).

The engine mount is a little small, yet the cowl has no problems with different engines sizes.

My Spacewalker always had a bad left yaw at runup even in spite of the right thrust built in, and adding toe in, etc.

Once it was in the air, it was a great flying plane. At landing there was a small tendancy to ground loop, but it tended to track straight on landings.

I flew mine with an OS .46 AX.

The plane flew fine, with more than scale like power, but it did not have unlimited verticals. For that I would have needed a bigger engine.

I really enjoy my Spacewalker II powered with an OS 46AX but I feel the OS 55AX would be a better choice for this plane. I have not experienced the yaw problem.

Hi!

I'm mounting my kyosho spacewalker 50 just now, and i'm think how to mount the engine. The manual says to do it off center, a little bit to the left but don't say anything about right thrust. If I mount it as the manual says, i need to put right thrust, but i didn't find any info about it. Almost all visible photos of this plane, shows an well centered spinner without any kind of down or right thrust...

I'm a little bit lost about this...

I didn't found the corect manual, but this shows exactly the same instructions about engine placement. See page 9.

Somebody?

By my knowledge, i'll put right thrust to center the spinner with cowl...

I'm planning to install one engine, an chinese asp 61 4Stroke, but i'm have one Thunder Tiger 75 FS. If the ASP doesn't do the job, I'll put the TT 75FS.

Regards,

PS.: It's hard to found any info about this plane!

I see this thread is almost a year old and the op didn't say if he made his choice yet, so for what it is worth I love my Segull Spacewalker II with a Satio .72.
I was very pleased with the quality of the plane and the ease of assembly. It is a very good flyer as well.

Hey Wot4 Dave

GO BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put a four stroke in mine, beefed up the U/C put the wing servos inside and this plane is one of my favs. It is as tough as old boots, easy to repair and great fun to fly and will not bite you on the behind, will not tip stall. I practise alot of touch and go's with mine and go around doing 20/30 in one session. This puts the whole airframe through quite a bit of continous shock but it is showing NO signs of wear. Good on Seagull
