I had one last year with an O.S. .46 FX 2 stroke. I set it up exactly as the instructions said and never had any problems in terms of anything structural or anything like that. It flew great. With the .46 it did not have unlimited vertical, and it was by no means a 3d plane with the .46. Another note worth taking is, minimal control surface deflection will go a long way with this plane, i tend to set my planes up with quite a bit of deflection, but with the phoenix sukhoi, it almost had a negative impact, and when the surfaces (*primarily the elevator*) would reach a point, it would almost stall the entire plane, slow it down real bad, leading into a tip stall. Me and a friend of mine built them and set them up exactly the same to do a routine at our annual air-show where we fly very close to eachother, and sometimes towards eachother, in a knife-edge(looks cool as hell)
, and if we hit, it would only make it that much more spectacular. I would definitely reccommend this airplane to anyone, its reasonably priced, easy to assemble, and will fly your face off all weekend long. There is'nt anything you can't throw at that airplane.
