hello to all ,
I am hoping someone out there has some feedback on the cloud dancer 60 arf. I am going to transition to this plane form my trainer and would love some feedback on the kit (construction issues and or flight /performance feedback). I am going to put mine together with retracts and an OS 91 FS/Pumper. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Like you I am also looking for some info on the Cloud Dancer. I was impressed with the construction and design. I haven't found anyone who flew one yet. That plane with that engine is quite a jump from a trainer. I hope you have some experience with something in the intermediate class or you will have quite a handful. If you find or hear any comments please post them as I am also interested. If you have a trainer with a .40 engine you might want to try the smaller version and use your .40 2 stroke to get a little experience before you move to the more expensive plane/engine combo. It's a lot cheaper to transition this way. Good Luck.

I have seen the 40 flown and the pilot said the following:
-Great flyer
-Pretty fast
-A little twitchy
-can get ouf of coontrol on high rates..
I would maybe wait and go with another plane for a second

I had a 60 cloud dancer with a TT 61. I also had retracts (get the thunder tiger retracts, trust me). This is a very nice flying plane. I sold mine to a friend as his 2nd plane. I think it is pretty advanced for a 2nd plane. Biggest problem he had was that the plane is a floater. For a while had real trouble landing it. It's not hard if you know the technique. You really need to slow down early in the circuit. It does aerobatics nicely in fact it does everything nicely. No construction dramas, as per the plans is fine.
Only you will know if you are ready for it. If you can reliably fly the wings off your trainer then I say go for it.
