modelaero polaris float plane or one similar to it
i like the modelaero.com polaris
http://modelaero.com/Merchant5/merch...tegory_Code=AM
but i think that 65 is just a little on the steep side for foam.. anyone have this plane or something similar to it? i have a 170 watt motor and i just want a nice flying float plane to put it on, it doesn't have to be fast or snazzy..bigger is better, but obviously not too big because i only have a 170 watt motor.. i just want something that float fly's for cheap, i have the servos and motor/esc/prop i just need an airframe that this size motor will fly well, but on a budget!! thanks for any advice!!

You could try the float plane forum on here....
I am putting floats on a Sig LT40 ARF that I won at a club raffle. The floats are fibre glass, VERY nicely done, out of Washington State - I bid on them on Ebay got a smoking deal on them, but they retail for about $60 or so US.
Cheers,
HH
