Default wheel pants

I have a Sig S.E. and was wondering if there is a way to toughen up the wheel pants or maybe an aftermarket company that offers better pants than what comes with the plane?
I fly from a grass field and the pants only lasted about 5 flights before the left one broke. I would appreciate any ideas that anyone might have on the subject.

I also fly off a grass field and mine have stayed on. I put on the
largest size tire that would fit and also raised the pant so that the bottom was about 1 1/4" off the ground. If you want to go
glass try www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com and match the length
and shape to the factory ones.

I used 3" wheels and raised the pants a bit to fit. I have more than 160 trouble free flights off of grass fields. These wheel pants are tough enough when raised up a little.

Cheers!

you can also glass the inside of the plastic pants to make them stronger.

Epoxy by itself would just crack, you need to add some glass cloth to have strength with the epoxy.
