Was wondering if anyone is as interested as I am for a gas ARF of a Bucker Yungman Bi-Plane? This was a great flying kit by CG. Full aerobatic and sweet landings.
Also, after attending Top Gun and drooling over a Laser, how about an ARF in the 26cc range?
If anyone knows of a manufacture that is coming out or has one now, please respond.
Thanks

You mean Jungman. Saw a CG model yesterday at the Big Bird fly in in Bellingham. Very nice size (120?)
ARF or Kit I'm up for anything Bucker with two wings. (they did make a low wing monoplane). The best flying classic bipes ever. Even the full scale ones were the best with a lot of history and engineering greatness. For example the steel tubing in the fuselage stepped down in size as it went aft to save weight.
Funny thing about the CG Jungman model was this one yesterday was done single cockpit with a Pittsstyle cowl. Jungmans were two place with an inline four cylinder engine although there have been many converted to Lycoming engines with the Pitts style cowl. Jungmeisters were single place with radials. Don't know if this model was bashed but I don't think so.

Here in Australia we have a supplier distributor called Austars Models, here is a link .....www.austars-model.com/display.php.
They have a new Bucker Jungmann series coming out in various sizes,I'm not sure if you can get them there in the States or not but I think I have seen threads of Autstars Aghusky's from guys Stateside so I would think its possible.Note the Jungmanns havent started to be sold yet so I am not sure of the quality.
Just FYI guys

Dave; Sorry about the spelling! Dah!!!! That CG kit was of a single seater. It was modeled after a US aerobatic's plane. All the one's I find on the internet are of two seaters though. I am in the process of building this one, but if there was an ARF out there, it would have my attention. I am installing a 26cc motor with a smoker.I have a couple of pictures included with this email. Will have more pictures as I go. This plane will handle up to a 140 four with ease, so should be no problem with this 26cc.
Also sorry it took me so long to respond to the question. I had eye surgery and just got back on line.
Thanks again for the reply,
Regards,
Joe

The 77 inch, 26cc, model seems like a decent price for a pretty big bipe.
690.00 AUD = 553.72 USD
Horizon charges 500 for the 150 size P-51 which is an 80 inch monoplane that calls for a 26cc gasser.
The site says they do international sales and to request a quote via email.
