NY,
I test fitted the sevos into the tray and it seems to me that the servos should be raised 1/2 inch higher otherwise the rods are too high over the arms. Anyone do any mods in this area?

I did'nt but that was because of the high connectors i use. But here is another thing that came up today. For the last seven years, I have replaced my stock fuel tanks with sullivans. Well i skipped that on my Shoestring. I put 10 flights on it so far with one more this morning.
* The front stopper where the brass tubes and screw goes in to hold it came lose enough to make a mess. it was in their tight. I know it was. So double check that one. Overall this is a sweet plane.

Hardover,
That is what happened to on My shoestring. I ended up with 12 oz of fuel in the bottom of the plane. I'm getting ready to strip the covering off and check the damage. I bought some spray grease remover, K2R. Then I will coat everything with Balsarite and recover. I'm planning on replacing the tank or add a lot of silcon to the front so it doesn't happen again.
