Default BH Models P-36

I just ordered a Black Horse Models P-36 and was wondering if any one has tried this plane and what kind of quality it has or any problems it might have. I have the T-28 Trojan from them and was very impressed with the quality with that plane and was hoping to have the same with this one.I can't find a good picture of it. The one on Hobby People looks like it has weiny looking landing gear. I like the way this plane looks. It looks kinda like a P-47 only with a round cowl. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My father bought one and it looks very nice. It's glued together with the typical melted hot glue, but they all are. Might need a firewall epoxy beef-up. The cowling looks great, the covering was tight and the overall shape and outline looks fantastic. I think it's much more scale than the P-40.
Dad wants to go with the retracts in the kit, I want to make him some wheelpants like the Curtiss Export Hawk 75 and leave it fixed gear. The retracts in the kit are not scale in retraction direction or mode, they are like a P-51 and do not rotate and retract aft like the full scale job.
Overall it is a nice model and looks suited to a 91 four stroke. His isn't flying yet, so these are in-the-box impressions.

Thanks Chris, Good info. I just like the way world war two era planes look and in particular the fast back cockpit canopys like the P-51B or the early P-47's. This plane looks very similar to a P-47 except for the round cowl.
