Need help deciding on a new plane
Okay, It is time to retire my old and well used Slowpoke .40. It is getting it too bad of shape. Ihave narrowed my choices for a new airframe down to two. Either the Great Planes Escapade or the Tower Hobbies Uproar(or maybe Great Planes Dazzler, relatively same airframe). The question is, which one would you choose?I am looking for a throwaround fun flyer. Any comments would be appreciated.

i was in the same predicament as your good self a year or so ago. I`m in ireland so your options would cost to much to send over so i got this baby in the uk .its a weston cougarpowered by an evolution 45 (TPS) and an APC 12x4. love it to bits. has infinite vertical, and will take a lot of abuse. but will not knifeedge to save its life. it could be a second model for a beginner with the rates tamed down and is a monster with rates high.

I vote for the GP Escapade. They are both sport flyers but I would take the looks of the Escapade any day over the Uproar. Good luck!

Try a Tower Kaos. Wonderful flyer, inexpensive, easy to take off and land, and will teach you a bunch as to aerobatics.

Looks like a cool plane. I would ditchthe tricycle gear though and make it a tail dragger. Thats just me though. : )

I have quite a few highly aerobatic planes, so I want something mildly aerobatic but also can be a sunday flyer. I am leaning towards the Escapade at the moment. I am just too impatient to wait till July to get it.

The H9 Pulse wpuld be your next best bet, after that i would reccomend the LA Racer http://ecsvr.com/abm/shopexd.asp?id=2137 I used to have one i liked it better than the escapade

P_U_L_S_E - GOOOOOOOOO Pulse......Awsome plane...easy to fly with some good aerobatics. Not a 3d plane...but great sport flier! Ive been thinking of getting another one for the hell of it because I liked it some much back then. Awsome knife edge....flys great with an OS 46AX...and would do well with a super tiger 45( which in my opinion has more power than the AX)
