Got mine 95% completed...just put on the canopy and purchase and install a 6V flight battery...

I figure with both batteries against the firewall, it should balance without any additional weight....but we will see.

Keep in mind that H9 C/G as shown in there manuals is a bit conservitive, I wouldent worry too much about getting it dead on, half inch is close enough, of course, don't go too far aft! And NO up trim at all on maiden!

I was thinking about buying the Pulse 60 for my new Saito FA100 GK.   So, in looking at threads for the 60, which also has the tripping problem due to LG, you may want to look at this video and see if this is a option for all of you Pulse 125'rs....

Any thoughts on a Pulse 60 w/ Saito FA100 vs. Escapade .61-.91 or Revolver 70" or any other suggestions, I have a post on ARF forum, and I would appreciate any and all recommendations/suggestions...    http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11326726/tm.htm
Thanks !

I've got a Saito FG-14, 4 stroke gas (equivalent to about an 82 size Saito nitro)in my Pulse 60. Plenty of power for this style of plane. I've had 100s of flights on the stock plane and landing gear and can't recall ever having a tip, or even coming close to one, so this talk of tipping always mystifies me. Maybe I fly mine a little tail heavy or something.

I saw the video and tried the mod - the angle of the 125's gear is much greater than the 60's and it didn't look right at all.

I tried it with the stock gear on a riser block.

It was WAY too tippy. Full up elevator would work if the plane was pointed upwind and moving, but getting it moving often made it tip

I went with TNT landing gear...

But I like the look of the stock gear much better - so over the winter I'll move it forward an inch or two as others have done.

I moved my landing gear forward ..I used the original bolt holes from the front gear holes and put the back gear bolts in moving the gear ahead about an inch..then I put backing in and drilled new holes and put new blind nuts in for the front gear bolts...I hope this makes sense..It is much easier than it sounds and works great...I did not like the way it looked with the gear turned around ..I ordered a gear from TNT and while I was waiting I wanted to Fly so I came up with this..It works so well when I got my TNT gear I have never switched over...I like how this looks...It completly solved the tripping problem and it is very easy..There is one former that you need to work around...Thats it...

I've been discouraged with the Pulse because I had a hard time landing without bouncing all over the place. This winter I will move the stock gear forward. In addition I'll be replacing the stock ring in my DLE-20 with a Bowman ring, and I'll polish the reed block. All of this should breathe new life into her!

Wow, a new ring? I'm pushing over 8500 RPM/s on mine right now and it takes the Pulse 125 up, up and away without any problems. As far as bouncing goes (I fly off hard dirt), I land two wheels with a bit of power. If I try a three point landing, it will bounce - and the gear is in the stock location.
