Default Morris Knife Arf ; CA on WING ???

The instructions for the ARF version of Morris Knife, says to CA the wing joiners, then CA the wing halfs to each other, and then CA the wing to the fuselage...

I've used only 30 minute expoxy with my two four star kits. Is the CA acceptable? I would think if it's strong enough, it would be dangerous to try gluing the halfs together. If you make a mistake, oooops, crooked wings...

Has anyone any input here?

Their going for lightness, all I have ever used is cyno. If you want to be extra safe use epoxy on the joiner and cyno the wings.

Not only did I CA the wings together, but I CA'd the wing to the fuse as well using baking soda as a filler. Worked great!

The Saito 72 on mine shook the wing loose from the fuse in the front.

I've built and flown a handful of Morris profiles; CA is fine for all parts of the plane. If your personal preference is epoxy, throw some in... but you'll be fine with CA anywhere on this ARF.

I CA'd my wing together and used CA to attach it to the fuse. No problems so far and I have dorked it pretty good twice!

Default Both

I CA'd my wing halves together and CA'd the wing to the fuse.
A couple of hard knocks popped the wing loose from the fuse.

I recommend CAing the wing halves, then using epoxy to join it to the fuse. The CA baking soda works but is a pain. Epoxy can be set, wiped off with alcohol, and voila.

Thanks for all the tidbits. I'm still gathering data and will decide when I get to that point. Sure is nice to hear all the different methods.

jsonin, sorry for the double post, but I wasn't sure where I would get the best response. I've noticed a lot of people browse only certain forums therefore, to get the most diversified information, sometimes it helps to spread out your questions.
