Its been six years since I last flew R/C, and I was itching to get back into the game. I purchased a Sig Rascal and found it to be very well made and a joy to assemble. It took no time whatever to put the Rascal together, but the real pleasure was in the flying.
I let my friend take her off the first time so that he could trim out any bad behaviour(it has been six years!), and after that he gave me the box, and the smiling began. What an absolute joy to fly! In no time I felt as if I had been flying without a break and I'm sure that was all due to the Rascal.
It has no bad habits whatsoever, and I was shooting touch and gos in no time with total confidance. I insured that the aircraft balanced right on the factory listed CG location, and found that the aircraft would just mush through straight ahead with full up elevator applied with half a tank of fuel or more.
I can't say enough good about my Sig Rascal 40!
