I'm considering buying the Cloud Dancer 40 arf and would like to know what ya'll think about it (those that do/have own/owned and flown it).
Anything I should be aware of? How's the quality? The handling? Any bad characteristics? Any other suggestions for a decent arf in the $100-$120 range and a tail dragger?
Thanks,

Can't directly comment on the 40 size but I own a 60 size cloud dancer and I highly recommend it. I know a guy at my field who owns both and he said the 40 and 60 have very similar flying characteristics. Nice plane to just fly but will also do impressive aerobatics.

Highly recommend the C/D 40. Had one for a year and a half till I flew it after charging the batteries for only a half a day...Bad idea..
It was a great airplane.Nice flier, nice lander and all around fun.
I had a OS 61 SF on it with a Macks pipe and it really hauled buns.It started out with a Irvine 53 and did well with that too but wanted to try for more speed and the 61 did that. Cloud Dancers always get attention in a crowd...I don't think you'll be disappointed.....Walt
