Not bad getting 10% off the $110 price tag. Several months ago I bought their 72" Yak. It's a CMP product but with a glass fuse where the Giles is built up. I can't say the Giles isn't CMP as the rising sun Edge is an Evergreen mfg. same as was being sold on ebay by WillHobby's. I bought Will's yellow and blue Edge offered at the same time as the rising sun and it too was an Evergreen. So many similar arf's out of China, it's hard to tell which is from which neighboring factory. 5 or 6 years ago flying buddies bought GSP's style warbirds, but the planes wings didn't like the sun and began blistering on the surface. This wouldn't be a problem with the Giles though. I haven't heard any complaints lately about GSP. I've liked their prices better than Nitro for the same products. My Yak was $40 or $50 cheaper way before the 10% discount was offered.
It's not going to be a good comparison with the one you're asking about, but I've been flying a similar size Midwest Giles from a kit. It's a little heavier and using a ST 2300, but very predictable plane in flight although flies heavy. Not an expert pilot by any stretch, but my Giles, Edge and Extra330 (all 70 to 72") fly very similar with no bad habits other than me.
As Grimmy stated, I wasn't sure if that was the same plane offered in that "light" shade of red and white accent. I like the current trim much better.

I did not know they were still selling planes , they use to be the only company that had CMP , they lost the exclusive rights about 7 years ago .
There were countless post about over chargeing for shipping , so make sure you get the exact quote on your cost of shipping .
I bought a Spitfire from them but lived close enought to pick it up

I agree with the shipping cost being a bit on the high side plus they charge $10 for a repacking fee, so it looks like the shipping on thier Giles 202 would be around $43-$44 plus the repacking fee for regular ground shipment. I'm still thinking it is a great deal for around a $155, but the kicker is they won't quote the exact shipping until it's ready to ship. The Edge that they still have at the same price is a 72" wingspan but they are showing 2 different color schemes which is confusing, the stars and stripes and the sun-burst in red, whte & blue, the star-burst is the best looking of the 2.
