Has anyone ever installed an OS 125 fourstroke in the Hanger 9 Spitfire

I have heard of people putting them in this plane without any problems. A little over powered but should be fine. I have a YS 1.10 with a 15 x 8 prop. She moves with authority!

your looking in the wrong section there is a huge thread in the warbirds section all about the H-9 Spit many have installed similar size engines in it as well as numerous gear mods just about everything that could be done to it.

I read an artical in one of the model plane magazines where a Saito 1.25 was installed in this plane with numurous control surface mods to eliminate flutter and they went 125 mph with it. I still have the Saito 1.00 in mine and get about 80 mph out of it with my selected prop.
