Default Pulse 125, the good,the bad,the ugly!

First the good - it is a good flying plane with no bad habits or extreme coupling issues. Second, the bad - poor landing gear design,i.e.rake back of the wheel placement makes nose overs common place, especially on grass runways and stab design is extremely weak and easily fractured in flight (it happened to me, but got it down in one piece!). Lastly the ugly - poor quality of balsa sheeting on leading edge of wing easily fractured during normal handling ! Solutions: removed all covering on stab to fix fractured trailing edge and double all diagonal reinforcement - replaced landing gear with a standard large tetherite glass reinforced nylon with no rake back - removed covering on wing leading edge sheeting to CA fractures hidden by covering ! All this for $269.00 ! Also, don't forget forget to go over all hinges and elevator wire connectors with more CA and seal all control surface gaps !
