I finally retired the GSP 68inch P-51 Sunday After a Pancake landing which broke the wing. it s fixable but this has been a "piece" since day one. 11 1/2 lbs on a OS 1.08. The engine is great but cant pull this lead sled around and is darn n ear uncontrolable.
* I barely made it back and slammed it on down. Said the heck with it all and gutted it out. Went to the LHS and bought the Model Tech P 47 Going to put the 1.08 in that. Friend has a similar set up.
To those who are going to by any Model Tech Arf. The covering was bubbled but the heat gun took it al out. However using an iron on this is not even close to that of Monokote. With Monokote you can get away with high heat. If you use high heat on this crap it will immediately melt. Use very low low and it will be fine.
* Plane is going together very well. Should top out at 8lbs, so it should be a decent flyer

Keep in mind that you'll most likely need some nose weight. (everyone who puts a .91 four stroke in it does anyway)
