Hello Folks,
Any one build and flew or is in the middle of building this plane? If yes, please give me some insight on the aiframe and engine used. How did it perform with your engine choice? Any mods you made?
Thanks
Hosam

I helped a club member put one together a couple years ago. He had a YS 120 in it. I know he put CF rods between the upper and lower ailerons. I believe that was the only change he made to the kit out of the box. I maidened it for him and I do remember it needed minor elevator trim. It did go like a bat outta hell. I have always loved ultimates. I wish someone made a 20-30 cc version.

I reviewed this plane with a YS 110 and it was almost too much power. It could do knife-edge loops

I have a YS 120 in mine. Flies fine. One thing to look out for is the covering, I have the purple and Silver version, both purple and silver does not stick very well, tape down all the leading edges of the trim. I don't like the fact that I cannot remove the batteries easily after a days flying, I don't like to leave them in the plane, there should be a hatch on the bottom somewhere, because taking the wings off is a pain! Landing gears are super strong and super heavy, it's difficult to land smoothly on paved runway without bunny hops! No real issue with the plane.
