Default Best RTF Electric Airplanes?

Hey guys,

I have been into RC cars and trucks for ages, but I am thinking of getting into planes. What would be a good beginer, yet high quality, RTF electric plane to start off with? I would like to keep it in the $300-$400 range. Also, I would want something kind of medium sized, not huge or tiny scale.

I needs some good suggestions as I am a total nood when it comes to planes

Thanks

This is an awesome plane, right in your price range. I helped a guy learn on this last summer - the plane flies really nice as a trainer and can perform some very nice aerobatics. It is a good size at 55in wingspan - not too big, not too small.

It's really a pretty good value and comes with a very decent first radio.

Take a look at the Parkzone Super Cub. All foam, and sturdy! (don't ask...), high wing, 48" wingspan, 3-channel self-stabilizing feature and completely RTF for around $180.

Having both the EasyStar and the HZ Super Cub (actually my first plane, now retired) I would recommend the EZ*. There is just less to break on the EZ* until you get the hang of flying and landing. The Super Cub is a great plane but has a somewhat fragile gear box and firewall mounting, the TX is also a joke where as the EZ* at least has a quality Hitec TX.
