If you had a 2500.00 limit. You needed everything. Plane, engine, receiver, servos, quality hardware, carbon fiber pushrods and landing gear, what would you buy?
Obviously I am in the market for a new plane. I have a few 40 size planes, an 80" extra300s, etc I already have a computer Tx.
I would like to move into a gasser. Something that can perform all the 3D maneuvers in the book in a 30-35% scale. Price range is non negotiable per my wife. =

LOL I could imagine the look on my wifes face if I walked in with 10 kits. That would be priceless.
Actually I have decided on the H9 1/3 Sukhoi w/ ZDZ 80 twin.

I suggest you get a 35% Wild Hare Giles G202 with a ZDZ-80. It will do everything you want and then some, both pattern and 3d. It's rugged and well finished and easy to fly and land. Lots of them out with no structural problems.
The ZDZ-80 is powerful and inexpensive. It will pull the G202 out of a hover with authority and still only costs $615.
Engine and plane with hardware package and spinner and switches is $1,555. Depending on what servos you choose you will be around $2,000.

I also strongly recommend the wild hare G-202. Great plane to fly. I loved my first one so much I ended up with three of them. Flying on the ZDZ-80 . it's a great plane
