Both of the engine pods are canted outward, so if one engine dies it will still fly fairly straight. I had one die on me and I didn't know it shut off until after I landed it.

The Twinstar will pull somewhat when an engine dies, the trick is not to apply power in a big way, ask me how I know. (4 feet on final and an engine dies, put on power to go around and upside down in an instant). This was my third flight on a twin and new engines.
I have lost an engine several times and now I find decreasing power while maintaing speed with the nose down slightly makes for a successful landing in most instances.
