I can't compare the Lanier to the AW. But I love my Lanier. I have a Fox 4.2 on the nose and it flies like a dream. It will do anything. I am hovering at about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle. I have around 15 flights on it. I am still waiting for a Slimline muffler. I will then put the cowl on. Great flying plane. Oh I converted mine to a single place and redid the covering.

I use the 5625 in my Aeroworks profile and have had no problems either. How does the 30% plane compare to 25% plane? I've been flying a H9 Edge with a 180 Saito which is a good combination I just need a little better servos to make it precise. Not to mention the fuel it burns up in a 8-9 minute flight.

I had a H9 Edge with both a Fox 2.4 and a BME 50 gasser. They had a little higher wing loading. The 30% is so much better. I wish I would have bought one a last year. The Lanier Lands like a trainer. No kidding.

I've been flying the AW edge for 4 months now and have nothing but good to say about it. It 3Ds very well and is very stable. I like the color scheme on it also. I'm using a 3W 75 with 5 8411s. It weighs 19 lbs with this setup.

I have an AW 300 Profile arf with a RCS 180. Really good combination and quality from both.
Comparing the spec from each manufacturer AW advertises an AUW of 16-18lbs. with 1380sqin wing area and Lanier advertises 17-20lbs. with 1473sqin of wing area. I don't know in reality if the difference makes a hill of beans. I guess as long as I can stay under 20lbs I'll be alright.
