Default ARFs you'd buy again

Question (or Informal Poll):

Which ARFs & ARCs would you buy again should you happen to lose it to the gravity gods? Which did you like/love so much you'd rush out to get its replacement?

for me:

Kyosho Flip 3D
Great Planes Venus
ZN Synergy 90 3D (haven't flown it yet but from what I've heard and seeing how its built...)

Kyosho Cap 232(.40 size)...

If not for the lower grade covering(although it looks beautiful), this plane is pretty much perfect.

Philip

Dave Patrick Ultimate 40. I absolutely love this plane. Best flying, most predictable plane I have ever had.

I'm hoping at some point I can get the big DPM Ultimate as well.

I would get the original Modeltech "Dragon Lady" ARC and would not go anywhere near the new Dragon Lady ARF.

They screwed up with the colors and the fact that it is now a one servo aileron bird (no pockets in the wings)

Kangke Texas Hurricane. When my son took over my first one I replaced it, and if I crash {maybe that should be WHEN I crash} I will buy another.

Modeltech Dragon Lady ARC (.40 and .60)
Thunder Tiger Ace Cloud Dancer
Thunder Tiger Stick
World Models Super Sports .40
Kyosho Super Stearman

These all fly really well and presented no great dramas when building. Quality was quite good.

I also hear that the new ESM kits are excellent.

Would buy another World Models Super sport 40 in an instant. Also, any of the Hangar 9 Ultra Stiks!

Thunder Tiger .40 Tiger stick. Easy to build, great flyer (but what stik ISN"T?). Poor stik-up covering and interferance between aileron servo and rudder/ele if you're not careful.

However, I think My next stik will be a GP -- because of the covering. Stiks OUGHT to be iron crossed.....howell

Goldberg Ultimate, it would be my third.

H9 Funtana S 40 (I'd double bevel the elevator this time)

Those are my two best ARF experiences.

I'd definitely go with another Sig SE. The finish, hardware and flying were all top notch. I lost mine to a radio programing error on my part. This thing will fly slow or fast and land like a feather. Be sure you have throws at low rates when you first fly it and adjust to suit your style and abilities after that.

GP Ryan STA!! Gravity hasn't claimed the first one yet and I'm thinking about buying another one while they're still available.

OOOOhhh a half power take off rolling a long time on the mains bouncing through the grass just like the full scale bird in the golden age. Almost as good as sex. Then theres the long lazy rolls!

Scuse me I got to go take a cold shower.

Default I did buy again!

Hanger 9 Funtana. Lost my first one due to radio problems. I had a new one in the air within a week. Thinking about a 3rd "Just in case"

Also the Black horse models 300S in .40 size. Been waiting on the hobby shop to get another one of those in, was a very nice flyer with a Saito .72

Woody
I would have to think hard on the 40 size DL, but the 60 DL and a YS 120 is the bird of choice for about eight guys at my field.

Default Well....

The H9 33 % Cap. There is no question in my mind, or several other people's minds, that this is the best ARF ever made. I wish I had 6 of them......

35 % Radiocraft Extra ARC. Probably the 2nd best plane ever made. The only reason in comes in at #2 is you have to cover it.

35 % Fiberclassic Extra. Don't own one, but have flown one, and seen 2 up real close. Nice bird.

Piedmont Focus 2 M pattern plane. 2nd best plane that I own. (See H9 Cap above......lol)

H9 Ultra Stick 60. Great knock around plane.

Sig Kadet Sr. Ama should charge an extra $150 for new members and give them this plane. If everyone would start with this plane, we would turn out much better RC pilots.......

Pugs

PS. Soon to be on everyone's list:

I'll have to throw in my vote for the H9 Ultrasticks. I've only had the .40 size so far, but man I do love those planes. I'm on my second one after my last one went to a watery grave on Memorial day weekend. Hope to get it up and flying this weekend.
