Looks Great - I love it when I see other kits in the background waiting!!?? That way I don't feel so guilty?
Give us a flight report and how it performs with the 160.

Ya thats a Ziroli DC3 in the box waiting patiently.Since all these nicer arf's are coming out the build kits get backburnered.I have started it though.
Looks like a nice day for a test flight..

just a few questions.....

why the exhaust extensions>? .just the look>?
i wanted to see and hear the twin

and were you able to get fuel tank where you wanted it>?
top of tank level ith fuel inlet>?(or close)>?

i have a 120 version of same motor on a plane (brand new... but old)

i am going to see how it flys.....on this plane i have... (a GSP KATANA)

Basically for the scale look plus it gets the oily exhaust out of the cowl. From other reports the extensions make little difference in performance and it sounds great. No I'm not satisfied with the tank location the carb is lower than the tank.it sits at just above the bottom 1/4 level, however its not bad if your aware of the problem. You keep your carb closed until your ready to start and you may get a couple drips out of the carb but it seems to start and run well afterwards,I'll do a test flight first then maybe I'll modify the tank location.Today is test fight day..SteveD

steved
very good .. thanks for info..... hope test flight goes well with you

my tank ended up high as well... but it seems to run fine in testing so far...
and i have found same results...with the slight dripping.., not a big deal so far..
i may move tank closer to CG is my only concern.... i was going to test fly it first and see how it is.. i put it in the nose as per instructions.. but i think the CG locale may be better.

as far as exhaust.... good to know i can extend them. w/ no power or sound change....

ill let you know on my test flight.. sat. or sunday i hope
