Default Air Field P40-Large-From Nitro Planes

Just received the Larger Version of the Nitro Planes P40 . Being a fule guy I wanted a fun , fast , no hassle diversion from my Fule Bird bahes over the summer .
Well good news and bad lol . If you want a cool airframe for $99 bucks and you can get one in 2020 when they are either back in stock or update there website then pick up the airframe only version .......Do not , repeat , do not -warning warning warning warning warning -do not ever buy the ready to fly versions (plug and play) .
I paid the $239 plus shipping , now i have a Plug and PAY version - I will need to replace the servos , the retracts , the motor and ecs . The transmitter looks like the cool ones that you got with your TOYs R Us boats when you were 10 .

So after spending $239 plus shipping, I did not want to throw away the plane so I am looking at spending another $200 on a Himax Motor /ecs conversion , I will then have to add a reliable 2.4 receiver , luckely I have a transmitter and i will need another 7 Hitec or better H55 or H81 servos .

Then I will replace the the toy plastci legs ( opps I mean retracts ) with either the robart 615 , or wait for the horison new eletric rotators another $130 thru $150 .

So remember dont do as I have done , do as I say , only only only buy the airframe only version and hope that you get shipped a non-damage version -thats another story !!!

Again those of you saying -himmmmmm why did he not contact them -guess again , I did and no responce and it was thru this thread on RCU and a PM .
So I am ready to enjoy summer with another major bash to an ARF Plug and Pay .

Also one last piece of the puzzel was solved on another thread , Nitro RC is indeed 100% Raidentec unless John Raiden who answers some of the post for Nitroplanes just so happens to have the last name of one of the worse RC suppliers on RCU , RC groups Ebay ect

Sounds like the Kyosho 50E isn't such a bad idea when compared to this.

I did go through the same thing as you on the FMS P-51, but I was able to source many of the parts I needed here at home.

Best of luck to you.

On Friday I place my order for the P-51 Kit version.. Guess what...

I'm having second thoughts about these people.. Payment still says, Pending. They don't even come in on Monday and check the Paypal account to see about new sales. I know Mondays are slow.. people come in with a hang over and chit chat over the freaking coffee area or water kooler... but Geezz...
The first time I ordered from nitroplanes was about 7 months ago and that in it's self was a night mare.. I thought I give them another chance and guess what... I should have taken my chances with Banana hobby.. at least they take your money quick..

Coming to realize that I fell again into believing that I could maybe get some good service with nitro planes.. What the Hell was I thinking!!
