Hey guys, if any of you own the new ARF Stuka from Great PLanes, what do you think is the most significant down of the plane? I just got it and hope to start building it today, and I've heard about the landing gear having to be bent forward a bit and the ailerons being slow. Other than that, I'll appreciate any hints you got. Thanks

Hi,
A friend of mine has one Stuka like yours. It fly with an OS 91 Surpass, but really it is not easy to make a fine landing with this bird. That is the only think i can tell you. When you approach with flaps you have to give 1/3 throttle because the plane really stops with flaps. So you have to attenuate the elevator channel to put it on the ground very soft to avoid the triple jumping.
Bye Bye

The one I fly belongs to a friend. It is ST .75 powered. It lands like a dream. With or without flaps. Your right about the gear blocks being weak. Only other problem is the fuel residue has eaten the color out of the covering. The leading edge of the wing needs to be touched up. later daveo

Yeah I kinda figured the landings would be kinda bouncy because of the tires in the kit, those foam tires are the ones that the Avistar kit has. And I had bad landings with them, so I put on rubber tires. I'm gonna do this for the Stuka. But hey, other than that I welcome anyomre tips or hints or warnings or whatever. I want my plane to be crash free. Thanks
