os 40 FX into what ARF
#1
I just wrecked my avistar, it had an os 40 FX, prior to this, i had a superstar, Have a GP Spacewalker ARF ready for spring, but need some help in picking an upgrade from the Avistar to place all my hardware into, no issues flying the Avistar, would like to stay in the ARF's for a while.. Any help with the Spacewalker would be great also. thanks

Try the GP Kaos 40. From what I've seen, overall reviews of this model put it in the "fair" category (in terms of fit/finish), and you can't expect much more for $130.
If it is built straight, you will LOVE the way this airplane flies. Many of us have a long-term love affair with the classic kit version.
I know I do.

I would guess it depends on what kind of flying you want to do. You can go low and slow and have a blast with a Thunder Tiger Lazy Tiger or you can go fast and hard with a World Models T34. Both are reasonable priced for an ARF and both really easy to land. Either one won't disappoint with the engine you have. Have fun, Fast!

I have one in my dazzler arf runiing an APC 12 x 4 prop to slow it down a bit . It is a total blast from mild to wild with this engine. The only draw back is it needs better ground clearance and I am even using 3 in wheels .
