Default seagull extra 260(180) ...dle30?

has anyone flown this plane with a DLE30 ..I own the arf and was going to install a DLE30 but the weight on the plane says almost 13 pounds flying wt. that gives me pause and wonder if any 3D aerobatics is even possible. would love to hear from everyone.if I have to I'll sell it as its still boxed and get a lighter 30cc airframe..looked at 40 cc motors and the bhp was less than dle 30 so thats no help either.

I remember a thread where aomeone had a MDL28 on one. His comment was that the combination was more IMAC friendly than 3D friendly.

The DLE30 has a little more punch so I don't really know. Like you I have one flying on a Saito 1.80. It's not a 3Der either.

Do it it hovers at 1/2 throttle. I am on my second plane with the DLE30 building now. I flew this plane with a Zenoah G-26 magneto the first year then a cheap CRRC 40 and then the DLE30 by then the first plane was getting beat up and the firewall looked like swiss cheese filled with dowl rods and epoxy over old engine holes.

The DLE30 was the best of all of them so much I bought another plane to put it in.
