Judging from what I saw at Toledo the ARFS are definitly the "fad"
nowadays and probably here to stay. Heck Midwest who is known for quality kits had only boats on dispay . Didnt see one airplane kit from them!! You fellow arfers really have to check out the fun-key line from Yellow Aircraft the quality for the $ is simply outstanding . I always thought the Kyosho line had the finest quality arfs , but now seeing them up close and in person Yellow Aircraft steals the show hands down in the ARF arena . I can definitly see one of each in my arf collection in the future. Looks like my wallet is going to be lighter yet again this year.

Default ARF ARF ARF

Tim,

I think you are on to something. I've now noticed a direct correlation between the number of new ARF releases and my checking account balance. Now I'll have to buy a Yellow AC ARF!

Do we need to start "Over ARFers Anonymous" ?

Default ARFs

I used to build for a living. I now own 4 ARFS, 1 H9 33% Extra 330L, 1 H9 Sport Cap, 1 Lanier Edge 540 and finally a Yellow Aircraft SU-31 in the Brieghtling Scheme. I bought the last one they had at Toledo on Friday. I also have another ARF on Order the 33% H9 SU-31. I have gone ARF crazy.

Chris,

You are showing the signs of OA "Over ARFing". You may want to consider joining our support group OAA "Over ARFers Anonymous" while there is still time!

How many does it take to join. I have 11 including 3 quarter scales and 1/3 H9 Cap 232.

FastLaneAK,

Everyone has a slightly different tolerance for "Over ARFing". If you are unsure, we can help. The numbers that you stated would send most casual ARFers into instant shock known as "Over ARFers Catatonia".

I know, I know but I gotta have more. Have you seen the new Dave Patrick Edge on the toledo Pics? Gotta have one. Gotta have the Radio Craft 40% Extra too. What about the new lanier edge?
I guarantee I will have a radio craft and lanier coming within the next month! I have a ZDZ 40 N.I.B. waiting for the 80" Cap from Hanger 9 also. I have so many I can't keep up. Rearranging the back of the garage for bigger planes. My 8'x20' model room is packed full.
Help!!!!!!!!

Have I gone whacky? :spinnyeye

FastLaneAK,

You are a danger to all recovering OA. Please stop mentioning all of those nice, new, sleek, aerobatic, drooooool... Now see what you did. My suggestion is to go right now and watch one hour of CSPAN and wait for the urge to pass.
