Finaly went to fly my cub yesterday, and this being my first glow plane went out on a training night to the field. The instructor took it off got it trimmed out and gave me control, slow and easy is the best I can decsribe the handeling. With a 46 FX it will cruse at 1/3 throttel all day long. Turns required a lot of aleron with almost no rudder. Didn't get to any areobatics as it ran out of gas. Nether the instructor nor I noticed the the engine wasn't running for a few seconds it glides so well. When it finaly came back into ear-shot and we noticed the engine wasn't running the instructor took control and landed it in the grass next to the runway.
