I'm amazed that others want this plane also. I have been wanting this plane for 12 years now. 12 years ago i sent off for information about it. I sent off for it to Combat Models located in Mirmar CA. They sent me information about it with a video of it flying, it was injection molded so im guessing it's a plastic type, then i found an article about it in a magazine at the same time, they recommended using a OS 46 as the engine instead of a 40. This plane has a 52 " wing span using a pusher, It seemed to fly nice watching the video and reading the report about it.
But alas 12 years ago they wanted $199.00 for it and at that time kids were #1 priority , now that the kids are gone i am looking again , so i call the company up about 2 months ago. OUT of business , GONE, i don't know what happened , no phone #. o well my search continues;
Sooooo to the main point of this message,
yes bring on the plane , but i do need more information about it, ducted fans are a little expensive for me , plus my field does not have the room for it, ( thou i guess i can join another club ,if i had to to fly it with Df's) flaps yes , retracts yes, price , whoa that is still hard,
and o yes by the way , since i have read everybodies comments about A vs. F. It's an attack plane not a fighter , it's used for close air support to protect our troops and to mess up the bad guys and yes the gatling gun going off is very nice to hear above your head, because you know the pilot/plane will stay very close to protect you plus depleted uranium shells really does make a mess for a long time. - david
