Default CG for the ModelTech P-47

Would one of you ModelTech P-47 owners please tell me where the manual places the center of gravity? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can download the manual from http://www.globalhobby.com/review/reviews.asp
It was the 7th one listed when I looked at the page today.

Thanks. I tried downloading the manual earlier, but got nothing but a blank page. It worked this time, though. Thanks again.

For "big" files that happens to me sometimes. When it does, I can usually right-click on the link to the pdf and choose 'save target as' to put the file on my hard drive.

Rarely does this model show up in the forums, so I am always interested when it does. I used what the manual says for CG location, and the plane flies terrific there. Mine came it at 9 pounds with an OS91Surpass II w/pump. Flies exceptionally well. I replaced the stock retracts (too thin) with some cheap ones from AK-Models, and they have stood up fine for the last year of flying...but I only fly it about one day each month, 3 flights each time. Flies and lands like a sport plane. Hope you enjoy yours as much. Jon

There are threads, some quite long, about this model in the Warbirds forum.

I picked mine up from a fellow RCU'er. It has an OS 91 Surpass II, and Spring Air retracts, and the previous owner drew panel lines and some rivets, and painted it over with some type of dull clear finish....looks pretty good. I flew it a couple of times the other day and it seemed a little sensitive on the elevator. Sure enough, it was tail heavy. I plan to take it out for another try this weekend.
