Bought cool Pizazz at Toledo, with a OS-70 4 Stroke. Balanced it about 1/4 inch aft of where sheeting ends on wing, reduced the throws for 1 st flight. Advance throttle straight into the wind ( on asphalt of course ) , it tracts straight, gets going pretty good, I touch elevator and it snaps on its back and sliiiiiiiiiides to a stop on the canopy, wing tip, and my gorgeous os-70's head. After 5 hours in the shop, it's ready to recover the damaged areas, BUT, the valve cover, head, rocker arm adjustment screws, and the carb were all broken. Anyhow, anyone know correct balance point for the Pizazz, and just in case, I pulled All my recievers out and their going in to Futaba along with my 8uap for a check up!! After all, it couldn't have been MY fault, ................could it ?

Did you get an instruction manual with it? The CG is in the back of the book. Check it out. This is a great airplane. You should have taken more time to go over it. Just my 2 cents.

Bought it at the swap meet, didn't get the manual. It's a 12" wing, 3 3/4 back is around 30%, I figured it was a good place to start. Anyway, if someone could give me the balance point in the manual, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dale

In the manual it is 3 1/4 to 3 3/4. I have mine at 4" with an OS .61 FX on it and it flies great. Here is the manual from Horizons site.

Yours looks nice, I'll wait for my equipment and try it again. Apparently the C.G. wasn't the problem. So far the only mod. I've made is to move the battery back about mid-way between the wing and tail. ( I made a hatch in the bottom.) The guy had lead on the tail to achieve balance,so i took it off and moved the battery.
