Default Phoenix Giles 202

I'm looking for a new airplane for my little OS LA46. I keep eyeing a phoenix giles .46 at my hoby shop. Will this engine pull this plane around ok?
It does not need to be crazy................. just make it fly nice.

Ihave the 46AX in my GP extra 300, and that is fine but I'm not sure how the LA will do in a scale aerobatic plane.

You will notice that Phoenix Giles has a pretty small structural cross-section area just forward of the wing. It is also a sharp corner, which makes what they call a "Stress riser". It would be good to carefully epoxy some fiberglas cloth in that area, both sides, to add some strengh for those bumpy landings.

Your LA wil haul that plane around just fine, since you're not expecting lots of vertical or wild aerobatics.

Best wishes,
Dave Olson
