Default P 40 CMP or Kyosho?

Looking at two models in the .40 size.

Realy like the looks of the CMP ($140) on the Nitro site but no flaps and the retracts are out of stock and I hear flimsy if you can get them as well as Hanger 9 sub's. The description is not clear about the fuse being fiberglass or balsa. I prefer fiberglass. No pilot available

Kyosho sounds good ($190) but does not look as detailed as the CMP. Has flaps and comes with retracts. I followed a thread on this site that stated that the Kyosho needed to be reinforced in critcal areas to strenthen the over all structure of the plane. I don't have the time nor experience to take on such a task that should have been done at the factory.

I plan to install a Saito .62 for power.

Would appreciate any information and advise.

I have had the kyosho arf and it is a good plane and fly's very well. I think its well worth the extra money. You can never go wrong with the Kyosho stuff.

Did you have any issues with the strength of the fuse or overall design?
