Razor 3D anyone???
Is anyone flying the new Great Planes Razor 3D? It looks like a remake of the old Lanier Razor and it looks nice. I'm going to order one soon!
Thanks, Ernie Misner |

RE: Razor 3D anyone???
Spridal, that is good news. Tell me about your Razor. Did you use the OS 55, 46, or? Did your balance come out okay?
Thanks, Ernie |
RE: Razor 3D anyone???
Ernie,
I flew the Razor with an OS 46 when it was made by Lanier. Awesome flying plane, very 3D capable. If you use a 55, you may have to add tail weight. Even with the 46, I think I added about .30 oz. in the tail. Loved the plane, may have to get another. I would also suggest a remote glow. |
RE: Razor 3D anyone???
Thanks Dan. Sounds like even the earlier model was a great flyer. The new one uses a 55 in the instruction manual so it should balance okay. I might put a .46 on mine and keep it a little lighter though, which should be plenty of power anyway. Not a a bad idea about the remote glow with the inverted engine.
Thanks, Ernie |
