Default Razor 3D anyone???

Is anyone flying the new Great Planes Razor 3D? It looks like a remake of the old Lanier Razor and it looks nice. I'm going to order one soon!

Thanks,

Ernie Misner

Spridal, that is good news. Tell me about your Razor. Did you use the OS 55, 46, or? Did your balance come out okay?

Thanks,

Ernie

Ernie,

I flew the Razor with an OS 46 when it was made by Lanier. Awesome flying plane, very 3D capable. If you use a 55, you may have to add tail weight. Even with the 46, I think I added about .30 oz. in the tail. Loved the plane, may have to get another. I would also suggest a remote glow.

Thanks Dan. Sounds like even the earlier model was a great flyer. The new one uses a 55 in the instruction manual so it should balance okay. I might put a .46 on mine and keep it a little lighter though, which should be plenty of power anyway. Not a a bad idea about the remote glow with the inverted engine.

Thanks,

Ernie
