Dang, I like that plane....Time to order one....
What is the build time??...I dont have alot of time for building(assembly), but can scrape together 15 hours no problem... Also, I am thinking a Saito 91 or 100...I like fast high powered ...this looks to be the ticket..:) |

CDingnition, the box claims 14-20 hours build time, but if you have any ARF experience at all you can shave that down easy. The manual is well organized and the steps are clear and concise. I formed the wing and ailerons all together in one night (~2 hours). Most of that time was spent oggling the beautiful parts and craftsmanship, and waiting for glue to dry. I can't wait to see this baby fly!
TerryPhillips, I never considered electric in a model of this size. I didn't even know they made electric motors that could move something this big. :) I'll bet the noise level of it is almost nil. That would be sweet to see. :D Mettler1, thanks for the wheel pant tips, I will look into getting some parts like those. Luke[8D] P.S. A few pics of my OS61FX. The aluminum spinner will add a nice touch to this bird eh? :D |
