One question, how do you put afterrun oil in the motor with the cowlings?
I usually don't put after run oil in mine if I'm flying it all the time. For winter or if I'm not going to fly for a bit I pull the cowl and put it in.

I know a couple guys who use these long squeezey tubes with a long end on them that fit up in the cowl just to get a little in the carb. They buy them from the local hobby shop.

I made the mistake and got this Gee Bee tail heavy on one flight... Want to talk about a scary ride... Took off... tail droped... pure power < 82a saito > only thing saved it and kept it in the air... climbed real high... If I touched the elivator or alerons it would snap over into a spin and dive... would power out and climb... After 3-4 heart stoping snap overs figured out only way to fly it was with rudder and throttle. Took 8 mins of flying around the field with using just rudder and throttle to control... Get it about 6 feet off the ground and just wouldnt settle down... finally figured I was going to run out of fuel.. So on one pass was about 3 feet off the ground decided to touch the elivator to get it down and it slamed down... did a 360 flip and came to a stop... tore up the wheel pants, but that was it... got it down... Another 10 mins to stop shaking... Checked my pants... Didn't fill them... Decided it was enough for that day... LOL

I realize that I'm answering an old post; but I just became the owner of the Global Hobbies Waco, and I have no manual to show the prefered assembly method.Do you still have the manual for this plane? If so, are there any I could get a copy of pages showing the aeliron hook up and the engine installation? Thanks, RCR

I have one of these (NIB) that I bought from a guy who was getting rid of most of his stuff. I'll try to remember to bring the manual to work. If you can send me a PM with your email address, we have a monster copy machine that can scan and email stuff.
