Dave Patrick (Cermark) Ultimate 40 CG and Throws

Does anyone know the CG and control surface throws for the Dave Patrick Ultimate 40? I bought the repackaged Cermark version and I can't find the info in the manual anywhere. The throws, CG and flying tips must be on the back cover, which seems to be omitted by Cermark.

It was in an addendum, separate from the instruction manual.

Anyway,
CG is 3/8 to 3/4 Inch in front of the front of the rear wing cabane
Throws

Up/down, and R/L

Thank you Jerry.

I don't seem to have the addendum. It didn't come with the DP stickers either, just the "Ultimate" lettering which was taped to the outside of the box.

I have what I need now.

Thanks!

Keep us informed on how it flies. I would love to have 1.20 size, but I prefer something smaller for transportation reasons.

I broke in the Magnum and I just finished putting it together. If the weather is good I will test fly it on Saturday.

Good luck. Hope you have some great weather. I figure the biggest hassle on a bipe is setup and with 40 size I could leave it assembled!

I will tell you this. Its one great little Bipe. Mine is powered by an AXI 4130-16 on 6s3p spinning a 17x10 prop. Can you say HOVER.:D

Yeah, it's nice not having to take a plane apart, especially a bipe which usually has about 12 bolts to assemble the wings. My Bulldog Pitts (scratch built from my own plans) is the same size and I don't have to take it apart to transport. I've attached a pic. I also have a little Ultimate from my own plans, but with a 25" span and a Norvel .061 for power it makes the DP Ultimate 40 seeem big!

Thanks,

It was overcast with very blustery wind today, but I put in a couple of flights and it is a really nice flying plane. Rolls are very axial, knife edge flight requires very little rudder, snaps are quick withouth over-rotation and it lands easy - even in the wind. I'm running a Magnum .70 on 10% Omega and it easily climbs vertical out of sight.
