Tower Hobby PITTS SPECIAL RTF

Sean flys a (what he calls a Pitts Challenger)
it started out as an s1b and was modified since
Check out www.poweraerobatics.com
they have a whole story on the plane
His plane is no longer black either
last year he was sponcered by orecle and took up for them where Wayne Handley left off
it is now red with the ocacle in white on the top wing.

As was said before the Gp pitts s1s is by far the best looking arf ever..

. Thanks for the link.
WOW!!! When you see that RED PITTS it just makes you want to forget what they cost to build and just go for it.
I'm still looking for that one I flew back in 88.
I just had the picture last week and can't find it.
The PITTS always seem to draw a much bigger crowd at any air show.
Just can't say enough about the PITTS

The black and yellow modified Pitts you are talking about is Jim Leroy and the BullDog--Just as good as SeanB Tucker. I saw them both at an airshow this past Sept-- I love Patty Wagstaff--but they were the show--she was almost an after thought

Both are true showman
even Patty
but they have lost there competive edge
and the capps are taken over
( I hate that but it is true)
I attended about 5 airshows last year
tucker was at one ( he is amasing )
but Mike gullian < And Matt
what a performance
everything was perfected Not just tumbling out of the sky
two differant realms
thats why Mike and Matt won

RE: Wgich Pitts???

Deadsticker,

I am almost finished with my Kyosho Pitts and have two minor but major problems...

1. Where do the control links exit the fuselage? I really want to do the best possible job, but the fuse does not include the exit points for the control rods for the elevator and rudder control surfaces?

2. How many and what blocks do I use for mounting the upper wing to the tower brace? How is this determined?

Would really appreciate all thelp I can get!!!

The GP Pitts is one of the best planes I have flown....
Most seem to need nose weight, my buddy fixed that by putting a G62 in the nose.

I love this plane. It flies great with almost no bad tendencies. Looks fantastic.

I would buy one, but I don't want a 400 plane with a 400 engine. Besides I can fly my friends, and I don't have a dime in it.

I have a GP 40 Ultimate on the boards being built, and a GP Skybolt.

The GP Pitts is the best flying bipe I have flown. But the cost of it makes me be more careful than with my other planes.
