yes I agree Tower retails gear for some aircraft it does not sell... however in this case just as we have seen in the past I am sure we are on the HOT TRAIL of the NEW TF B-25... I would be willing to "invest" not bet in this claim ;):D:D:D

What color scheme would you do yours in??

I want TONDELAYO!! Got to see her in person and went up in the Collings Foundation B-24 WitchCraft while Tondelayo sat and waited...

The TF B-25 would be realy nice as an ARC done up in a PB-J in the tri- color scheme ( Non Spec Sea Blue, Med. Blue, White) I have always liked this scheme.[8D]

It is a "Q" at the end. A lot fo people get this mixed up. After awile I ignore it, but it does get annoying :)

AS far as color scheme.....I would have to have the nose/navigator area clear and visible, not blue and solid painted over. Other then that, probalby some form of olive drab scheme.......the aluminum type schemes are nice, but hard to see in the air.

At 88.5" its a little bigger then the KMP which is 85". It must be lighter then since the motor requirements are less then the KMP as this one says .60-.89(dunno if that is 2-stroke or 4-stroke though). I club friend has the KMP and he's got .72 4-strokes in it which would be about same as .60 2-strokes.
I have two .46 2-strokes not being used, so I already have the power plants for the TF one if I get it.

That is very true but what about your time. Mine is very short these days. I look forward to the day I can sit in my shop and build but until then this looks like a winner.

Looks to be about the same size too me. Not as detailed, but much cheaper.

The Top Flite is fiberglass with panel lines, rivets, etc.

The Hangar 9 is balsa sheeted covered wityh UltraCote.

Hence the $200.00 price difference.

Yeah.. if I were in the market.... I'd wait for the TF. Looks better overall IMO :) Plus it's bigger!

the 25 from TF, does that look like it has rectratable gear doors??? the only pic i seen of it on towers site it looks like it!!! i wish they would show another pic of it. to see the difference between h-9 and TF. i like the size difference. i just wanna see some more close up pics of it. anyone know where there is some more pics of it??????

winning what? Your approval? Each plane will have their own market. Some wont want to spend the extra 200 for a fiberglass fuse and some will. Some dont have big enough runways to land the 88" size, but might be able to get the 80" one down(weight difference and wingloading will determine that depending on runway size).

The TF b-25 sure has my approval. Especially if it has the fiberglass parts as descibed as above. I didn't particularly care for Hanger 9's B-25 because of the cheap looking parts.

I concur that the TF as per seen in the only photo available seems to look better at first. We'll have to wait and see actually what the plane is made from and see different shots for final judgement. They are somewhat different sizes so the smaller or larger size may appeal to some depending on their circumstances.
As far as the "cheap" parts of the Hangar 9, it doesnt look cheap. But, maybe some things stick out that some dont like(a few screws here or there or the less then pretty tail gun area. That can be recitified by a modeler without much cost.

Not everyone has a large bank account, but theres nothing wrong with anyone who does. Buy the one that appeals to you the most :)

when i said that the TF is winning, i ment that its so far the one that i like as of NOW. it so far looks more scale. and as for the size from 80" to 88.5" is not that much. i'm sure if the person could get the 80 up they could get the 88.5 up too one the same run-way. its mostly going to come down to what that person can buy. if they like the bigger one and they have the money, then sure get the one you want, but if you limited on cash and you want a b-25 then cheaper is the best way for that person.

mostly need to see more pics of both planes. mostly the TF. both to me are nice planes. i want the one that is most scale like. but thats just me!

The one that is the most scale is the KMP/YT. So, I suppose, that one is "winning"?. It was same price as the TF, but is now going to be completely composite(wings and everything) and its not know whether it'll go up in price or not.

Its also not possible to tell if the TF is more scale then the H9 or not with only one photo that isnt very big.
