That's the "new" version... compared to the "old" version the one you put up looks somewhat presentable.

The old version looked a bit like a 310 made from big legos... Ick!

pkh - the E-Pawne is actually a pretty good looking plane in real life. Once the spinner is on, it really loolks nice. It is a big plane for its size.

I just don't like the style/look of it. I never saw a Pawnee until I saw that ARF come out. The canopy and top wing supports just look wierd to me. To each his own. The other "ugly" ARFs listed above don't look that bad to me (except for that hideous dog photo)!

You think the elec version is bad, check out the 40 size with the teal paint scheme. Pawnees should be all yellow. Then they are just funky enough to be cool.

Nothing ugly about Pawnees. They were built for maximum pilot visibility in mind with the canopy overlooking both wings. You'll notice all ag planes were built this way. Of all of them, I think the Agwagon and Pawnee look best. Different, yes. Not ugly.
