I've just ordered a H9 Pizazz but after reading other threads I'm unsure about the best engine choice. I already own an Enya 80 4S (based on the 60) which is ten yers old but in good running order. Would I be better off finding the money for a Saito 72 4S, or perhaps a TT pro 61 2S, or stick with the Enya 80?

Which prop with wich engine would work best?

I'm hoping to use it as a 3D trainer.

Also has any one tried this model on floats? How was it?

I can't wait to get this model flying, any other points are appreciated.

I have a Pizazz with a Saito 72. I would think as long as the Enya 80 is strong, use it. Should have plenty of power.

I'd try a 13X7 or 14X5 for it.

I'm still putting my Pizazz together. I only have a OS .91 4stroke to put on it. It will be way over powered and heavy, but should fly.
From what I hear the Saito 72 is perfect because of it's power and it only weight 16.9 pounds.
If you have something at in the power range, you should be fine.

I should have mine air-born by Friday. I can't wait.

Oh, and be careful about bending the tail wheel wire. I put mine in a vise and was bending the wire when it broke. Cheap wire. Now I have to buy a new better tail wheel.
I also used less epoxy on glueing the wing and used triangle pieces around the inside. It says to mix 1oz of epoxy for the wing. That is way too much (I hope I'm right).
The manual never says to put the fuel tank in the fuse or how to attach that front cover. I'm picky about directions.

Hey CookieFace---Yours should be very powerful. My Saito 72 has more than enough power for unlimited vertical. You might consider moving your elevator servo to the back to help with balance.

I'm just going to use lead weights in the tail to balance at this point.
My inital setup will be a OS .90 4-stroke with standard servos throughout.
Once I get the money, I will mount a Saito .72 and use mini servos. That should get the weight down to normal range.

I used Airtronics 94102s with BB conversion kits throughout mine. Total weight below 5 lbs. I didn't want to spend any more cash for more servos. I have too many laying around.

I just weighted mine. Come in at 5.5lbs. It might be an ounce or two over that once I glue the canopy on.

Attached is a picture. The scale is a 5lb scale, so the needle went around once already.

I am having good luck with an OS 61 FX and a 13-6 prop. This combo will hover at a little over half throttle. CG is more critical than than overall power. I installed a servo under the bottom of the fuse for a short pull-pull rudder control and I still had to add some tail-weight to get the CG back to 4 1/2". My OS 61 FX with muffler weighs 24 oz. I wouldn't go with anything that weighs more as there is not much room to move the battery around.
