Well I did buy a Twist 60..I do like the 60 size planes better anyways just for the fact that they are more visable in the air...
What do you plan to power the Twist 60 with?

RE: U-can-do 46 or 60

Took my U Can Do .46 (with Magnum .52 two cycle) out yesterday. I've flown this plane for the past year and half without any

problems...however, while doing a straight and level 1/2 throttle flight the left horizontal stab broke off near the fuselage...dangling

by the 4-40 linkage to the servo...got it down althought the main wing tip hooked the ground and broke at the hold down bolts.

Even my friends said "why did that happen"...GP says there is no issues!! I will rebuild and make the entire tail section

solid balsa. If you want to learn to fly "I do not recommend this airplane" ...buy something thats built to last and this

one isn't. FYI: You cannot do pattern with this bird....its just to frail.

with a magnum 52 i wouldnt think you would have enough power to tear off anything. ive had 4 of these and 3 60 size, the 46 with saito 100 (and for a while a saito 125) and never had this happen. if you cut the covering with a sharp knife (and a lot of people do this) then it may have cut into the balsa.

the 46 ucd is a good strong plane.....just my opinion;)

RE: U-can-do 46 or 60

Thanks for the input. The balsa was not cut prior to assembly...in fact that side, where it broke had a leading edge
that was SOFT. Did I get a reject plane? I'll never know....but it was good in 3D mode.....just that you cannot fly it fast.
I've seen one that the entire tail came off....not only the stab but the whole thing....and one where the covering on the
wing just ripped right off.....?? I just don't know ....but like I said, I'll rebuild with solid tail feathers. Cheers!!

You absolutly cannot fly a UCD fast. The tail will flutter and fail
