What to do with this 4 star 120??
1 Attachment(s)
I love scale aircraft and I have never been the guy to show up with something like this, but I could not pass up the deal. I know alot of folks have modified this airplane into other types. Should I recover it like the cropduster, etc. or just go and have fun with it? The guy spents loads of money on this thing, it has Duralite batteries, 2 smart switches, fancy tailwheel and some home made mac daddy wheels. Show what you have done to yours................

I would fly it like it is. It should be an excellent flying model.

RE: What to do with this 4 star 120??
I'm just curious why the previous owner installed the 2 switches on the exhaust side. Tradition dictates they go on the "clean" side of the fuselage.

lear if you get bored with it sell it to me a little west of you thanks frank

RE: What to do with this 4 star 120??
I don't know factually if this is the answer to the question about having two switches on the exhaust side, but my guess is that since the engine is a spark/gasoline engine, the owner wasn't expecting much in the way of exhaust residue leaking from the engine area and blowing over the model in that area.
Myself, I would still have installed the switches on the other side, but the way this is, it's not as bad as it looks. Ed Cregger |

Here's what I bashed my 120 into. It's an AirTractor 802F Fire Boss Slurry Bomber. I've since changed out the tail wheel for a more scale one and added a few more cockpit details and harness's to keep the pilot in :)
