Checkout the weight and wing loading. That thing is going to land fast and will probably snap pretty easily as well.

Great Planes Gee Bee

Wing loading is critical to good flight on a Gee Bee. High wing loading is what has created the myths about bad flying model design. I think on the other hand the R-2 from KMP will be a much better flyer. Larger plane with same weight. 28oz vs 36oz /sq.ft. wing loading.

PAC Gee Bee Model "Y"

1 Attachment(s)
Have an 82" Pacific Aeromodel Gee Bee Y ARF. Weighs 17 lbs wet on 1175 square inches for wing loading of 33 oz/sq ft. It lands nicely, but it must be flown and flared to a 2-wheel touchdown. At 36 oz/sq ft it would only weigh a pound more. For a smaller aircraft this would probably mean higher relative flight and landing speeds, it's a RACER after all. The Model Y was intended to be a 2 place sport plane.

Just saw TLH101's post: That one has a MUCH better wing loading.
