Checkout the weight and wing loading. That thing is going to land fast and will probably snap pretty easily as well.

Wing loading is critical to good flight on a Gee Bee. High wing loading is what has created the myths about bad flying model design. I think on the other hand the R-2 from KMP will be a much better flyer. Larger plane with same weight. 28oz vs 36oz /sq.ft. wing loading.

Default PAC Gee Bee Model "Y"

Have an 82" Pacific Aeromodel Gee Bee Y ARF. Weighs 17 lbs wet on 1175 square inches for wing loading of 33 oz/sq ft. It lands nicely, but it must be flown and flared to a 2-wheel touchdown. At 36 oz/sq ft it would only weigh a pound more. For a smaller aircraft this would probably mean higher relative flight and landing speeds, it's a RACER after all. The Model Y was intended to be a 2 place sport plane.

Just saw TLH101's post: That one has a MUCH better wing loading.
