My Father used to say "Son you can here what I'm saying, or you can feel it." The upside to all this is you've probably gained some valuable experience building/repairing blades. I'll have to agree with Rick and call this an official dead horse.
Don't feel bad, most of us don't listen to advice from others either. Don't give up, you'll get it! Go to a Fly-in if you have the chance, Autogyro's really do fly, I promise.
