Hi,
Sad news to report tonight. Word has come that Hal deBolt passed away this morning. As you probably know, Hal was being treated for the cancer that was discovered over a year ago.

Phil,
Sad news indeed.. I feel much richer to have spent some time with a true pioneer. The Gyro meet made it possible for me to spend some time with him.
I have had some good memories from his designs and will treasure them..and so will my Grandson.

Phil and All...
Yes, Hal enriched the modeling lives of all of us. It was a genuine honor to have known Hal through his intereste in autogyros. What is remarkable was his great spirit and attitude to the very end.
We'll miss him.

Very sad to hear about Hal's passing! He was a great help to me and a few of my projects! He takes a lot of knowledge with him. I'm glad he shared a bit of it with me before he left us. I will truly miss his e-mails!

I will miss being able to ask Hal for advice and his comments on my Gyro efforts. Lets revive his many models if the plans are available.
